VARIETIES: 	Lipstick plant, Basketvine - A. parvifolius, also called A. lobbianus
		Lipstick plant, Basketvine - A. pulcher
		
MAXIMUM HEIGHT:	2-3 feet long
		
BLOOMING:	Spring

SUBSTRATE:	2 parts peat moss to 1 part potting soil and 1 part sharp sand or
		perlite.
								
LIGHT: 		WINTER: 4 or more hours a day of direct sunlight
		SPRING-FALL: Bright indirect or curtain filtered sunlight.
					
TEMPERATURE: 	Night = 60 - 65°F (16 - 18°C)
		Day = 68°F (20°C) or higher

WATERING: 	Keep soil moist

FERTILIZING: 	Monthly

PROPAGATING:	Propagate from stem cuttings in spring.

NOTE: 		After the plant is finished flowering, cut back the stems
		to about 6 inches. This will promote new growth.
