TEMPERATURE: Night = 50 - 55°F (10- 13°C) Day = 68 - 72°F (20 - 22°C) WATERING: MIDWINTER - LATE SUMMER: Allow soil to become moderately dry between thorough waterings. FALL: Water just enough to prevent the leaves from shriveling FERTILIZING: MIDWINTER - LATE SUMMER: every 1-2 months with standard house-plant fertilizer FALL: Do not fertilize PROPAGATING: Propagate in late spring by transplanting smaller bulbs that form around the large one. REPOTTING: Only repot when absolutely necessary. (every 3-4 years) The bloom is much more healthy if the roots are not disturbed. |
