MAXIMUM WIDTH:	3 - 6 inches

BLOOMING:	Any time

SUBSTRATE:	2 parts peat moss, 1 part regular potting soil and 1 part sharp sand or perlite
								
LIGHT: 		Perfers bright indirect or curtain-filtered sunlight and can also be grown in
		14 - 16 hours of artificial light.
					
TEMPERATURE: 	Night = 65 - 70°F (18 - 21°C)
		Day = around 75°F (24°C) or higher.

WATERING: 	During bloom: Keep soil evenly moist.
		For S. speciosa, which has periods of dormancy, reduce watering when flowers fade.
		When leaves begin to wither, stop watering completely. When new shoots appear 
		(about 4 months) repot plant and begin to water again.
		
FERTILIZING: 	Fertilize montly while plants are growing.
