Adromischus

VARIETIES: 	Pretty pebbles - A. clavifolius
		Cooper's adromischus - A. cooperii
		Sea shells - A. cristatus
		Plover eggs - A. festivus
		Calico hearts, leopard's spots - A. maculatus

MAXIMUM HEIGHT:	1 - 2 inch (2 - 5 cm) thick leaves that sprout up 
		from the soil.

SUBSTRATE:	1 part loam, 1 part leaf mold, 1 part sharp sand and
		1/2 part crushed charcoal.
		OR
		Use a mixture of equal parts of a packaged general-purpose
		potting soil and sharp sand.
		To each of these mixtures you use, add 1 tablespoon of
		ground lime-stone and 1 tablespoon of bone meal.
						
LIGHT: 		Prefers direct sunlight for more that 4 hours per day.
		Or where artificial and natural light average 1000 
		foot-candles. But will grow fairly well in bright indirect
		light.
	
TEMPERATURE: 	Night = 50 - 55°F (16 - 18°C)
		Day = 68 - 72°F but will tolerate a temperature range
		from 40 - 80°F

WATERING: 	Spring - Fall: Allow soil to soil to become moderately
		dry between thorough waterings.
		Winter: Water only enough to prevent the leaves from
		shriveling.
		
FERTILIZING: 	Wait 1 year months to fertilize new plants, 
		Mature plants - fertilize once a year by diluting to half
			the minimum strength recommended on the label of a
			standard house plant fertilizer.

PROPAGATING:	Any season. Leaf cuttings.
