Alocasia

VARIETIES: 	A. X amazonica (Hybrid), A. cuprea, A. korthalsii,
		A. macrorrhiza
		
MAXIMUM HEIGHT:	3 feet. However the A. macrorrhiza can reach hights of 10 feet.

SUBSTRATE:	Use general purpose potting soil with added peat moss and sharp sand
						
LIGHT: 		Does well in curtain filtered sunlight.
			
TEMPERATURE: 	55 - 60°F (13 - 16°C)
		
WATERING: 	Keep soil moist at all times. Be sure not to over water. 

PROPAGATING:	Propagate by division, cutting rhizomes into smaller sections, or by
		replanting off shoots in the spring.
