Neanthe Bella Palm Parlor Palm

VARIETIES: 	Neanthe Bella Palm, Parlor Palm (dwarf) - C. elegans also called
			C. pulchella and Neanthe bella
		
MAXIMUM HEIGHT:	1-3 feet, however the dwarf variety (Parlor palm) grows to 12 - 18 inches.

SUBSTRATE:	1 part loam, 1 part peat moss or leaf mold, 1 part sharp sand and
		½ part of well rotted or dried cow manure.
		To each gallon pailfull of this mixture add: 
		- 2 teaspoons of bone meal.
		OR! use general purpose potting soil
						
LIGHT: 		Prefers the shadowless light of a north window. If only artificial light 
		is available, be sure to provide at least 150 foot candles of light per day.
			
TEMPERATURE: 	Night = 65 - 70°F (18 - 21°C)
		Day = 75 - 85°F (24 - 29°C)

WATERING: 	Keep soil moist at all times. Mist leaves and wipe clean.
		
FERTILIZING: 	Wait until the following spring to fertilize new plants.
		Mature plants - fertilize every month from early sping until fall.
			Do not fertilize for the remainder of the year.

PROPAGATING:	Propagate from seed at any season.

REPOTTING:	Early spring.
