VARIETIES: 	Kangaroo Ivy - C. antarctica, also called C. glandulosa and
				Vitis antarctica
		Begonia treebine - C. discolor, also called C. velutina
		Grape Ivy - C. rhombifolia, also called Vitis rhombifolia		
				
MAXIMUM HEIGHT:	vine with 3 - 6 inch leaves.

SUBSTRATE:	1 part loam, 1 part peat moss or leaf mold, 1 part sharp sand.
		To each gallon pailfull of this mixture add:
		- 1½ teaspoons of 20% superphosphate
		- 1 tablespoon of ground lime-stone
		- 2 teaspoons of 5-10-5 fertilizer.
		OR! use general all purpose potting soil
		
						
LIGHT: 		Bright indirect sunlight. Or more than 400 foot-candles of 
		artifical light.
		
TEMPERATURE: 	Kangaroo and Grape Ivy - Night = 50 - 55°F (10 - 13°C)
					 Day = 68 - 72°F (20 - 22°C)
		Begonia treebine - Night = 65 - 70°F (18 - 21°C)
				   Day = 75 - 85°F (24 - 29°C)

WATERING: 	Allow soil to become moderately dry between thorough waterings.

FERTILIZING: 	Wait 6 months to fertilize new plants, 
		Mature plants - fertilize at 3 month intervals by diluting standard
		house-plant fertilizer to half the suggested minimum strength recommended
		on the label.

HUMIDITY:	Kangaroo Ivy - very tolerant to dry air
		Begonia treebine - prefer high humidity (50%) or more.

CARE:		Cut of growing tips to promote a bushy growth.

PROPAGATING:	Propagate from stem cuttings at any season.

REPOTTING: 	Any season.
