VARIETIES: 	Hawaiian ti - C. terminalis
		
MAXIMUM HEIGHT:	1-3 feet, some plants may reach 6 feet or more.

SUBSTRATE:	1 part loam, 1 part peat moss or leaf mold, 1 part sharp sand.
		To each gallon pailfull of this mixture add: 
		- 1½ teaspoons of 20% superphosphate
		- 1 tablespoon of ground lime-stone
		- 2 teaspoons of 5-10-5 fertilizer.
		OR! use general purpose potting soil
						
LIGHT: 		4 or more hours of direct sunlight. Or more than 12 hours of artifical
		light per day.
			
TEMPERATURE: 	Night = 65 - 70°F (18 - 21°C)
		Day = 75 - 85°F (24 - 29°C)

WATERING: 	Keep soil wet at all times.

HUMIDITY:	60% humidity is essential. Keep the plants on a tray filled with pebbles 
		and water, but don't let it touch the water.
		
FERTILIZING: 	Mature plants - fertilize every 3 to 4 months.

PROPAGATING:	Propagate at any season from sections of the main stem.
