VARIETIES: 	Tree ivy, aralia ivy, botanical wonder - F. lizei
				
MAXIMUM HEIGHT:	3 feet

SUBSTRATE:	1 part loam, 1 part peat moss or leaf mold, 1 part sharp sand.
		To each gallon pailfull of this mixture add:
		- 1½ teaspoons of 20% superphosphate
		- 1 tablespoon of ground lime-stone
		- 2 teaspoons of 5-10-5 fertilizer.
		OR! use general purpose potting soil.
						
LIGHT: 		Prefers direct sunlight for more that 4 hours per day.
		Will do well in bright indirect or curtain-filtered sunlight.
		Or where only artificial light is available, be sure to provide 
		at least 800 foot-candles over 12 hours per day.
					
TEMPERATURE: 	Night = 40 - 45°F (2 - 7°C)
		Day = 65 - 72°F (18 - 22°C)
		Will tolerate dips in temperature as low as 35°F (2°C)
	
WATERING: 	Keep the soil barely moist.
		
FERTILIZING: 	Wait 4-6 months to fertilize new plants, 
		Mature plants - fertilize at 3-4 month intervals.

PRUNING:	To give old plants a boost, cut the entire plant back to 4 - 6 inches
		above the soil in spring. This will stimulate new growth.
			
PROPAGATING:	Propagate any season by stem cuttings or air layering.

REPOTTING:	Any season except during times of delicate new growth.
