VARIETIES: 	Golden Easter lily cactus - L. aurea, also called
				Echinopsis aurea
		Orange cob cactus - L. famatimensis, also called
				Echinopsis famatimensis
			
MAXIMUM WIDTH:	5 inches

SUBSTRATE:	1 part loam, 1 part peat moss or leaf mold, 1 part sharp sand and
		½ part crushed charcoal.
		OR! use equal parts potting soil and sharp sand.
		To each gallon pailfull of either mixture add: 
		- 1 tablespoon of bone meal
		- 1 tablespoon of ground lime-stone
				
LIGHT: 		4 or more hours of direct sunlight. Or where artificial and natural light
		average 1000 foot candles over 12 hours per day. But will also do well
		in curtain filtered / indirect sunlight.
			
TEMPERATURE: 	WINTER:	Night = 40 - 45°F (4 - 7°C)
			Day =  around 65°F (18°C)
		SPRING-FALL:	Night = 65 - 70°F (18 - 21°C)
				Day =  75 - 85°F (24 - 29°C)

WATERING: 	WINTER:	Water only enough to prevent the plant from shriveling
		SPRING-FALL:Allow soil to become almost dry between thorough waterings.

FERTILIZING: 	Wait 1 year to fertilize new plants, 
		Mature plants - Fertilize once each spring.
				
REPOTTING:	For fast growth, repot every spring. Otherwise only repot in spring when
		plant is overcrowded.

PROPAGATION:	Any season, from seed or young shoots.
