S. martensii

Selaginella

VARIETIES: S. kraussiana, S. lepidophylla, S. martensii

NOTE: Difficult to grow in normal household conditions.

MAXIMUM HEIGHT:	1 foot

LIGHT: Partial shade. Avoid direct sunlight.

TEMPERATURE: Winter minimum 55°F (13°C)
		Avoid cold draughts

WATERING: Keep soil moist from spring - fall. In winter, water sparingly.

FERTILIZING: Feel occasionally in the summer with foliar feed.

HUMIDITY:	Enjoys high humidity. To achieve this, rest the pot on some stones in a dish
filled with water. Make sure the water does not submerge the stones and touch
the bottom of the pot. This will increase the humidity directly around the
plant due to the evaporation of the water in the dish.
		Mist the leaves regularly.

PROPAGATING:	Propagate by dividing the roots.
